ChouKarui at Japan Animate Store
- In 2015, Japan Animate Store has a six-month campaign where they use anime couples each month to promote Naruto stuff. ChouKarui, SaiIno, ShikaTema, AsuKure, NaruHina, and SasuSaku are the six Naruto couples who were used to promote the series at Japan Animate Store around that time.

- In an edition of Otomedia magazine, the couples of the Naruto series had a section suggesting what made them all such harmonious couples. For Chōji and Karui, it was stated that Chōji's more sweet and lenient personality and Karui's more severe personality makes a good match for Chōchō.
