The flower vase with Sarada's flowers.

In Boruto ending 16, Sarada is seen carrying a bag of flowers which she brings with her over to Boruto's house, which later in the ending we see them inside Himawari's vase after Kawaki comes to get Sarada, Boruto, and Mitsuki to join him for Taiyaki. The flowers appear to be red carnations, which symbolizes love, fascination, and distinction in Japan. They are also a common mothers day gift in Japan, but since Hinata is not Sarada's mother the implication of this choice in flower possibly symbolizes Sarada's growing fascination with Kawaki at the time.

In Opening 10 Kawaki is laying in a grassy field where you can see pink flowers in the distance which appear to be Camellias. In Japan, pink Camellias mean gentle love, discretion, and faitfulness. The flowers appears just before time speeds up then slows down and the sky turns gray as if its about to rain, then Kawaki glances over at something and it transitions to Sarada standing in the rain holding an umbrella in the exact direction Kawaki looked at.

  • The flowers Sarada buys for Kawaki were confirmed to be Lavenders, which means faithful in Japan. Lavenders also have healing properties, a process Kawaki's currently going through in Konoha. In Sakura Hiden, Ino is trying to decide if to give Sai Lavender flowers or Dogwood to convey her feelings for him, when questioned by Sakura, Ino tells her that in the language of flowers, Lavenders mean "I will be waiting for you".
