The Couple[]
KibaNaru (キバナル KibaNaru) is the term used to describe the romantic relationship between Kiba Inuzuka and Naruto Uzumaki.
Their Relationship[]
Part I[]
Kiba and Naruto were egomaniac during their time in the ninja Academy. Once during class, Kiba was taking a nap while Naruto failed at a Transformation Jutsu, resulting in Kiba and the other students teasing him. It seems their relationship was intense during the academy.
Chūnin Exam Arc[]
Kiba vs Naruto.
Their rivalry begin in the chunin exam battle for who will be the future hokage; the two were paired up against each other in the fourth battle of the Chūnin Exam preliminary tournament. Kiba had an advantage until Naruto outsmarted him, refusing to give up, even after he was beat down. Kiba attempted to finish him off but Naruto farted in his face, upsetting his increased sense of smell. The gave Naruto the upper hand and he subdued Kiba with an Uzumaki Barrage.
In the Tournament, Kiba was in the audience alongside Hinata cheering Naruto on while he fought Neji in the first round.
Sasuke Retrieval Arc[]
Kiba teamed up with Naruto to bring back Sasuke. They survived, but didn't complete the mission.
Part II[]
Two years after Naruto returned to Konoha, and after coming back from the Kazekage rescue mission, Naruto encountered Kiba who was riding Akamaru. He was surprised to see Naruto again due not knowing he had returned from his two-year trip. Naruto asked Kiba to fill in for Sasuke on a mission with him, and Kiba was forced to turn him down due to a mission with Team Kurenai.
